Lobby Corps’ Review of 2010 LWVUS Positions for Program Planning

 

League positions are the foundation of League action -- and grassroots program planning is essential to ensure that Leagues are able to advocate and lobby on today’s pressing issues as the members wish.

With all the changes in issues that occur over time, existing positions need to be reviewed—and sometimes revised—to remain adequate and relevant. Members of the LWVO Lobby Corps have discussed LWVUS' existing positions, and share their thoughts on a number of LWVUS positions they believe are in need of updating – or are missing. This may look familiar because the recommendations are similar to those given two years ago.
