The 2010 Ohio Elections Calendar that has been updated to reflect all new deadlines required by the federal MOVE Act and Am. Sub. HB 48.

Please note that in order to ensure boards of elections can accommodate an earlier deadline required by the MOVE Act for absent voter ballots to be ready for the uniformed and overseas (UOCAVA) voters, candidate petitions and questions/issues filing deadlines have been changed from 75 days before an election to 90 days before an election. This means the petition filing deadline for candidates for state board of education members and county court judges as well as filing deadlines for questions and issues (including local liquor option petitions) will be affected for the November 2, 2010 general election. The new filing deadline for these items (for the November 2, 2010 general election) is 4 p.m. on August 4, 2010. All of these revised deadlines are reflected in the attached 2010 Ohio Elections Calendar.
