College Engagement Tour Program Intern

The League of Women Voters of Ohio is hitting the road again! For the third year running, we are partnering with Airstream, the iconic American travel trailer company, for a statewide road trip to get college students excited about voting.

 

Traveling in a 20-foot Airstream Caravel, we’ll visit more than 35 colleges and universities across Ohio to help students register to vote, learn about the voting process, and make their voices heard. Each stop will include music, snacks, games, prizes, and nonpartisan voting information.

 

We are looking for a College Engagement Tour Program Intern to support the planning and coordination of this exciting statewide voter engagement program.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the College Engagement Tour Program Coordinator with planning and organizing campus visits

• Help communicate with colleges and universities to schedule events and confirm details

• Support outreach and coordination with local League of Women Voters of Ohio members and volunteers

• Assist with follow-up communications, scheduling updates, and event logistics

• Help maintain contact lists, schedules, and program materials

• Provide support during tour events as needed

 

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented and reliable

• Comfortable working with college partners, volunteers, and community members

 

Details:

• Part-time internship: 10 to 15 hours per week August through October 

• $12/hour

• Flexible schedule based on program needs; may require some evening and weekend work
