MAKE A VOTING PLAN

REGISTER TO VOTE OR CHECK YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION
To register online, you'll need to provide your: 
  • Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card number: must be issued by the Ohio BMV​

  • Name + date of birth

  • Last four digits of your Social Security number

  • Current address

To register by mail, you'll need to provide your: â€‹
  • Name + date of birth

  • Last four digits of your Social Security number

  • Current address

Go here to get the application, then:

  • Print the application, fill it out, put it in a stamped envelope, and mail it to your county Board of Elections 

  • Check here in about 10 days to make sure it went through

VOTING BY MAIL, AKA VOTING ABSENTEE
NOTE: no photo ID required, just last the last 4 digits of 
your Social Security Number

Request your absentee ballot application here, then

  • Print the application, fill it out, put it in a stamped envelope, and mail it to your county Board of Elections 

  • Receive your ballot, fill it out, and mail it back

In 2025, you'll be voting for candidates and issues that impact you at the
  • County level, including tax levies that fund park facilities and social service agencies,
  • Regional level, including candidates for Educational Service Centers members
  • City, village, and township level, including candidates for mayor, city council, and judges, as well as for tax levies that fund local schools and public safety departments
