MAKE A VOTING PLAN

REGISTER TO VOTE OR CHECK YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION
To register online, you'll need to provide your: 
  • Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card number: must be issued by the Ohio BMV​

  • Name + date of birth

  • Last four digits of your Social Security number

  • Current address

To register by mail, you'll need to provide your: â€‹
  • Name + date of birth

  • Last four digits of your Social Security number

  • Current address

Go here to get the application, then:

  • Print the application, fill it out, put it in a stamped envelope, and mail it to your county Board of Elections 

  • Check here in about 10 days to make sure it went through

VOTING BY MAIL, AKA VOTING ABSENTEE
NOTE: no photo ID required, just last the last 4 of your
Social Security Number

Request your absentee ballot application here, then

  • Print the application, fill it out, put it in a stamped envelope, and mail it to your county Board of Elections 

  • Receive your ballot, fill it out, and mail it back

In 2024, you'll be voting for candidates that represent you at the
  • Federal level, including US President, US Senator, and US Congressperson 
  • Ohio state level, including Ohio Supreme Court Justices
  • Ohio district level, including Ohio House members + Ohio Senators (not every district has Ohio Senate races this year
  • Ohio county level, including county prosecutors (AKA District Attorney or DA), county Sheriff, and more
Voters will also vote on Statewide Issue 1, and may also vote on local county issues and levies
