The 2020 election will be like none other in recent history. American voters are as divided as they’ve been in decades and a global pandemic is forcing them to cast ballots in different ways. Political divisions and COVID-19 will stress our electoral system like never before. As Ohioans make their choices, we’ll look at what election officials and advocates are doing to make sure our votes count and the process is secure.

Statewide Judicial Candidates' Forum 

The Ohio Debate Commission (ODC) will host a virtual candidate forum for the two contested Ohio Supreme Court seats. The forum will be moderated by Karen Kasler, Bureau Chief, Ohio Public Radio & TV Statehouse News Bureau and Curtis Jackson, News Anchor, Spectrum News. The forum will be recorded virtually and live-to-tape on Friday, October 9. It will be available to watch beginning Tuesday, October 13.
